Food has always been important to us. It provides the chance to pause, nourish body and soul, and connect with like-minded folk.

We believe the best work doesn’t always happen at your desk. Inspiration often strikes during a chance chat in the courtyard, a conversation over lunch, or on a dog walk with a takeaway coffee in hand.

Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen sits beside a fire pit, overlooking lakes and fields, providing a space to fuel your creativity, catch up with clients, nourish the family or enjoy downtime with friends.

The perfect hangout for members and their guests, swimmers, cyclists, families and dog lovers. A place to come together and connect, and the perfect stop-off for those exploring nearby National Trust properties, The Courts Gardens and Great Chalfield Manor.

Offering delicious drinks, barista coffees and deli-style lunches, order to go service with no need to book.

Seasonal hot and cold specials, served alongside colourful, healthy salads, packed with flavour. Dine indoors or on the gravel terrace, overlooking open fields and mirror pond lakes.

Our unique spaces are perfect for hosting business or private events. You may choose the Club Room, or make it al-fresco and hire the courtyard, terrace or parkland. Wherever you decide, Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen will be on hand and offer superb catering, ideal for any occasion.

Our Summer Solstice Supper Club and fireside storytelling with the brilliant Steve Mynard was a celebration of midsummer in all its magic.

Guests gathered on the terrace for an atmospheric evening inspired by traditions that have marked the longest day of the year for centuries.

@far_call_records provided the soundtrack with an effortlessly smooth vinyl DJ set.

We feasted on:
*Pan con Tomate
*Crispy polenta, tomato ragu and salami 
*Italian style porchetta, salmoriglio, barbecued mushroom, buttered jersey royals, aubergine caponata, lambs’ lettuce, fennel, orange & pine nut
*Pistachio meringue, gooseberry, elderflower cream, candied pistachios

As darkness fell, hot chocolate and homemade marshmallows accompanied Steve’s captivating folk tales, shared around the fire beneath the stars.

Father’s Day is fast approaching (this Sunday!). Why not treat a brilliant Dad to a delicious lunch this week?

*Chicken rezala curry, flaked almonds, sliced chillies, coriander & pico de gallo salsa, with sourdough.

*Sourdough cheese melt - ogleshield, @westcombe cheddar & emmental, with pickles, chilli jam, rocket & fennel.
Red lentil & coconut dahl with spinach, rice, pickled red onions, garlic yoghurt, peanuts, coriander & sourdough. A nourishing bowl for a fresh Monday.
Sunny side up for a sunny Saturday ☀️🍳 Avocado on toast with a fried egg and golden halloumi.
Friday’s special? Cauliflower Balti Danish baked for us by @panobakehouse 🔥
